Paradise Resorts, a group of cottages situated in ’Konchumada’ – a rustic suburb of Kumarakom. The Resort, built and maintained according to the traditional architectural of Kerala, captures all the beauty and enchantment of the backwaters. Much care has been given in its construction keeping in mind Kerala’s architectural wisdom ’Thachusastra’. The entrance, the restaurant and independent cottages all stand as best examples of blending modernity and tradition. A ’Nadumuttam’ (an indoor courtyard) and ’Thulisithara’ (podium for the sacred tulasi plant)- the trademark of ancient Kerala heritage feature prominently at the Resort.

This rustic abode is in fact a reconstruction of the Tharavads and Nalukettu of yore, while equipped with all modern facilities. Every Cottage comprises of an air-conditioned room, teakwood ceiling, tiled flooring, cane furniture, spacious bathrooms with all modern trimmings, telephone, television, refrigerator and a verandah that offers a splendid view.

RESTAURANT
Paradise Resorts presents for the gourmet a variety of dishes ranging from Continental European delicacies, North Indian favorites to the native Kerala specialties.

Naturally, we specialties in Kerala cuisine - which are painstakingly prepared in the traditional way using ’chatties and ’kalams’ (earthenware vessels) and banana leaves.

Extreme care is taken so as not to tamper with the natural flavor and native taste of such Kerala dishes.
